We did it!!

We did it!!
I still think it is like a dream come true, so many days, so many hours, and stories to tell. And finally we arrived in Santiago.
When we arrived, we forgot about tiredness, about blisters on our feet, about snoring in refuges.
The only things that count are the happiness of having arrived, the company of the many friends who walked with us into the city, the loyal four-legged friends who captured our hearts, the tears of emotion, and the words of Father Francisco, which made us see that what we did was worth the effort.
We want to thank for the moments we have lived together, and we leave with our hearts full of emotions and  a bit more of humility, because on the camino we have learned that without the help of others we would never have accomplished it.
A big THANK YOU to all the animal friends and animal protection societies who came on this day, your presence was the most important thing on the camino. We will see you on 10-11-12th of october in Estepona!!!!!
Also to the walkers, without you we couldn’t have made it.
A big thank you also to the Franciscano Fathers, and specially to Father Francisco, whose words are deep in our hearts.

Special thanks to Patrick the guide, who “never gets lost”, to Dietmar also known as “Didi” for making his Didi Bar the center of our universe.

And last but not least, thank you to Fabian and Johannes, the” film crew”, for their idealism and their support. You have made something very special and we are looking forward to see the DVD!!

Lets continue the camino, continue to fight, to change things, for a better world.

Harpo

Hello, my name is Harpo. I am a dog who will make you happy, because I’m very funny and full of joy. I’m small and handsome, I am one of those you’ll fall in love with, as soon as you meet me. I have a very nice character, I get along with everybody, both two legged and four legged. I am very good with children because I love playing. I am not a puppy anymore but I am still young and very well trained. I won’t damage anything in your house, nor make it dirty. But I need a lot of love!!!!!

Because I will give you love in exchange. I really enjoy walking and now, after doing the Camino with my friends, I am very fit. But I will adapt to your way of life and will be very obedient. Adopt me and you won’t regret it.

LET THE JOY COME INTO YOUR LIFE-ADOPT A PILGRIM DOG

They have walked 1200 kilometres for animal rights, they are real heroes, that’s why they deserve the best home, and not having to go back to the animal shelter. They are friendly dogs, very sociable, healthy, intelligent, loyal, and they want to be your best friend.

Alfi, Uno, Perrie, Harpo, Rompe, Paca and Moro are waiting for you.
